Who this is for

  • You're over 40, you're not unfit or unwell, but you know you're drifting.
  • You've started programmes before and they didn't last past a few weeks.
  • You want strength, energy and a clearer head, not a six-week crash plan.
  • You'd like someone to talk it through with, and keep you honest.

What we work on

Mindset and habits

Tiny daily actions tied to things you already do, so change sticks. This is the approach behind the free 7-Day Micro-Action Challenge.

Purpose

Rediscovering what lights you up, and building a life around it, rather than just coasting through the middle years.

Training guidance

Simple, sensible strength and movement routines you can do at home or in any gym, shaped around your time and your body.

Nutrition basics

Practical eating for a busy man. No fads, no banned foods, just simple habits you can keep.

How it works

  1. A conversation. You email me, and we have a short video call about where you are, what you want and whether I'm the right coach for you. No pressure.
  2. A health check. Before any training guidance, we go through your health history. If you have a medical condition, check with your GP first.
  3. A plan built from micro-actions. Small daily steps for mindset, training and food, chosen with you and supported by simple online programmes. The aim is to build proof that you keep your word.
  4. Regular online check-ins. We meet by video call to review what's working, adjust what isn't, and slowly raise the bar.

Why work with me

I'm 58 and I still train: barbell strength, rucking and hard intervals. I'm not a guru, and I don't preach. I've spent my working life with people and under pressure, and what I coach is what I've tested on myself. My training and nutrition qualifications mean I can guide you sensibly, but my focus is coaching you, not training you in a gym.

A fair note

I'm a coach, not a medical professional or therapist. Coaching is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or counselling. My training and nutrition guidance is general, not an individual prescription. If you have a health condition, check with your GP before starting a new training programme.
