About

I'm Stephen. I'm 58, and I'm still training.

I spent 17 years as a firefighter. After that I built my own business, a lead-generation company I have run for nine years. Through all of it I kept training, and I'm still at it: barbell strength work, rucking and hard intervals.

I'm not a doctor, and I'm not a guru. I'm a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer (UK) and a Precision Nutrition Level 1 coach, who has read widely on men's development and put a lot of it to the test on myself.

What this is about

Most advice for men over 40 is either extreme or vague. I think the answer sits in the middle: small actions, done every day, that add up to strength, clarity and a life you're proud of. That's why I start people with a micro-action challenge instead of a big programme.

What I share

  • Training that works around real life, including strength, rucking and conditioning
  • Practical nutrition without the fads
  • Habits and mindset, built one rep at a time

A fair note

I'm a coach, not a medical professional. Everything I share is general fitness and lifestyle information, so check with your GP before starting a new training programme, especially if you have a health condition.

Start with one small rep.
